Membership

 

Membership is open to Student members, Associate members, Ordinary members, Corporate members and Honorary members.

Associate members: Any person who has an interest in Simulation and Gaming may be admitted to associate membership but may not be eligible to vote or stand for elections to the Committee.

Student members: Students of tertiary institutions who have an interest in Simulation and Gaming may be admitted to student membership but shall not be eligible to vote or stand for elections to the Committee.

Ordinary members: Any person who is normally practitioner in the field of Simulation and Gaming may be admitted to ordinary membership and shall be eligible to vote or stand for elections to the Committee.

Corporate members: Companies or representatives of firms or unincorporated bodies can be admitted to corporate membership. Corporate members are entitled to one vote but may not be eligible to stand for elections to the Committee.

Institutional members: More details soon.

The Committee may confer Honorary membership to an organization or a person in recognition of its or his/her contribution or service to the Society. An honorary member shall not be entitled to receive notices of or attend or vote at any General Meeting, and shall not be entitled to any of the privileges or rights be subject to any liabilities of a member of the Society.

Persons who are below 18 years of age shall not be accepted as members without the written consent of their parent or guardian.

The entrance fee is $10.

Annual subscription for Ordinary Membership is $30.

Annual subscription for Student Membership is S$ 10.
