President: Yeo Gee Kin
Yeo Gee Kin, graduated with a First-Class Honours in Mathematics from University of Singapore, and completed her graduate studies in Universty of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. She has been teaching operations research and decision support systems for many years. She is a retired Associate Profesor in Information Systems at School of Computing at the National University of Singapore, her research interests include simulation and gaming, modeling systems and model management for decision support. She believes in learning through activities and has been using MAGNUS, a simulation gaming environment, to support her teaching of management support systems. In 2003, she formed Decisionware Simulations and Games, a private limited, to further promote the development of simulation games and their use in training and education. In her academic capacity, she reviews papers regularly for many regional and international conferences in simulation gaming as well as in education. She is currently on the editorial board of Simulation & Gaming, an International Journal; and also a member of the Advisory Council of the International Simulation and Gaming Assoication. Locally, she sits on the Academic and Examinations Board of Ascensia Academy.
Secretary: Bimlesh Wadhwa
Bimlesh Wadhwa has been teaching in SoC, NUS since year 2000. She has graduated from Delhi University, India with a BSc, MSc and PhD in 1983, 1985, and 1990 respectively, and from the National University of Singapore, with MTech in 1996. Her research interests are in Software metrics, Virtual learning environments, and in Usability of Human-computer interfaces. She joined SSAGSg in 2008 and has served as Assistant Secretary in the Council. She served in the Secretariat Office in the organising Committee of ISAGA2009. She has a keen interest in the area of games for learning and teaching in Singapore school education and aims to contribute to the Society by attracting School teachers to be part of it.
Assistant Secretary: Max Tan Hui Yi
Max graduated with Masters in Science (Computing) from the National University of Singapore in December 2010 under the supervision of Associate Prof Hon Wai Leong (SoC, NUS). Max was working on development efficient algorithms for protein sequencing and visualization tools for peptide MS/MS spectra. Outside of research, Max is interested in development using various programming languages across different platforms. He has coded extensively using Java (Spring – Hibernate framework, writing portlets, on Google Web Toolkit), and have worked on commercial applications using C# and VB.NET. Lately he has also been developing games on iPhone using Objective C. Max likes teaching and communicating with his students and, is not really comfortable talking about himself from a third person’s perspective such as this.
Treasurer: Tan Sun Teck
Tan Sun Teck graduated from the old Nanyang University with a BSc in 1980 and the University of Essex, UK with MSc and Phd in 1984 and 1989 respectively. He has been teaching in SoC, NUS since 1989. Research interests include Chinese Computing and Computer Aided instruction. He served as the Local Area Arrangement Chair for ISAGA2009.
Assistant Treasurer: Tay Abel Pascal
Mr. Tay Kim Huat Abel Paschal holds a BSc degree in Computer Science from University of Dundee in Scotland, UK, a diploma in Wireless Intenet Technology & Applications and another in Strategic Brand Management. He is the inventor of FloraSBSS, or better known as CEO-Match, a board and PDA-interfaced strategic business system. CEO-Match, was given the GOLD award by Intellect Property Office Singapore (IPOS) in recognition of the invention in 2003. In February 2006, CEO-Match won the Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA 2005) MERIT award for the BEST in Education and Training System category in Thailand. Mr Tay currently runs 3 companies in IT industry, namely, Flora Computer Services, CEOne Pte Ltd, and CEO-Match (SG) Pte Ltd.

Currently working as a Lecturer in School of Computing, National University of Singapore. My current research interest includes Parallel Programming and Computer Architecture.
Publicity Chair: Tan Yew Khim
Yew Khim graduated with a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from the Department of Information and Computer Science (DISCS), National University of Singapore (NUS) in the 80s. She spent the first ten years of her working life as a Senior Tutor and later as an Instructor with DISCS, NUS. From 1994 to 1996 she worked for the Multimedia Unit and Centre for Computer Studies in Ngee Ann Polytechnic where she gained practical experience in multimedia courseware development. Thereafter she joined her family business, Taknet Systems Pte Ltd, an Information Technology Company with presence in Singapore, Malaysia, U.S.A. and Australia. Her company was a contractor for Multimedia Courseware Development for many government agencies in the late 1990s and she was in charge of courseware development project for a government agency leading a team of over ten staff including Instructional Designers, programmers and Graphics Artists.
Program Chair: Siau Tan Long
Siau Tan Long graduated with a bachelor degree in Applied Science from Nanyang Technological University and completed his Master degree in National University of Singapore. He was a research engineer and had designed several business simulation games for various domains before he joined Hewlett-Packard where he now works as a service delivery consultant. Tan Long has been on the SSAGSg Committee since the beginning. He was also a member of the organising committee for ISAGA2009.

Auditor: Ng Tai Hwa Genevieve
Genevieve Ng is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) with the CPA Australia since 1995 and a non Practising CPA with the CPA Singapore since 2010 as well as a Fellow with the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA) since 2005. She has obtained her Bachelor of Business in 1991 with Curtin University of Technology, an MBA in 1996 with the University of Western Australia and a Graduate Diploma In Applied Finance & Investment with the Securities Institute of Australia (SIA) in 2004 (SIA was merged with the Institute of Banking & Finance Australia in 2005 to form FINSIA). These complementary training has equipped Genevieve with the relevant skill set to manage the diverse demand from an accounting & finance in today’s fast moving global economic envrionment.
